Failure to comply could lead to severe legal penalties.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, any non-automatic fire fighting equipment should be positioned and signed in accordance with BS EN ISO 7010:2012 to ensure maximum levels of comprehension.

By positioning an appropriate fire equipment sign at a height between 1.7m – 2m from the ground, the location and identification of essential fire equipment is assisted in the event of its viewing being obscured by furnishings in the room.
